The afternoon session saw a change in fortunes for many counties with Suffolk gaining 8 out of a possible 9 points closely followed by BB&O and Essex taking 7.5 points each to boost the morning totals. Both Lincolnshire and Leicestershire & Rutland struggled and secured only 2.5 and 3 points respectively.
