Club house to open at 6:30am

Players will be provided with a lunch token as part of the entry fee.

All other food will be available on a cash sale basis

DRESS REGULATIONS

Clubhouse: Smart casual. No waterproofs or wet golf clothing. No golf shoes

Course:  Normal golfing attire, tailored short allowed with white sport socks.

 

MGU ADMINISTRATION

MGU registration desk will be located in the Spike bar off the patio.                     

Score Cards: MGU tear off strip cards to be used        

Local rules/temporary local rules: EG Hard card + Local rules

Course planners are available at £3.50           

 

HEALTH & SAFETY

First Aid: Tony Rowe & Daniel Perry

There are 3 wooden shelters on the course.

In the event of thunder and lightning the MGU have a klaxon and will take responsibility: MGU storm monitor and hand held klaxons. Club klaxons available.

Players should take care when crossing the public highway (Grange Lane) Between 10th green and 11th tee, between 17th green and 18th tee

 

THE COURSE

Tees to be used: White Tees (Measured course)

Players will be provided with Pin position chart.

The club operated a coloured flag system: Red/White – Front, Yellow/Black - Middle, Blue/White - back   

Out of Bounds: White posts – Internal OB between 1st and practice ground.

Flower beds (GUR): Black posts                                                                                     

Players should be aware of the access road across 5th and 14th  Players to be advised to take care with drives on 11th and 12th

 

PRACTICE

The club have kindly agreed to allow competitors a practice round after the closing date at a rate of £10.00 per competitor. Parents or friends of competitors will be required to pay the member/guest rate green fee of £18 weekdays and £20 at weekends. All subject to availability and to be booked direct through the Proshop at Shrewsbury Golf Club.

From A5 take A49 through Bayston Hill into Hereford Road. Take left turn to Condover (and Golf Course), Take second right in Condover village, bare left at fork and then golf course will be on the right.
