Title: EG Senior County Championships – Midlands Qualifier
Format: 36 Hole scratch medal (10 Counties each with 6 man team)
Number of competitors: 60 (Ten teams of 6 with any 5 to score)
Starting Times: 8:00am & 1:15pm
Tees: 1st and 10th
Time course closed to members: Wednesday 7th August: 11:30am to 16:00 (Practice rounds 12:30 x 20 tees)
Thursday 8th August: All day until competition complete

Practice round start times to be booked by county through Neil Harris. Tees will be allocated between 12:30 to 15:30. Start sheet will be published on MGU website
Any other practice rounds will be charged at £15.00 per person at any other time and should be booked through the Pro Shop all subject to availability..
Practice facilities: Main driving range (use own balls). Practice range for irons only (balls obtained from Proshop) short game practice area, putting green.
Meal Tickets will be issued to players and officials where appropriate.
Players will be provided with a lunch between rounds and a players tea after round 2
All other meals to be on a cash sale basis.
Breakfast option for teams on 8th August from 7:00am – cost to be advised and all to be pre-ordered.

Clubhouse: Smart casual, collared shirts (No waterproofs). No golf shoes at first floor level.
Golf shoes/soft spikes allowed only in spike bar (ground floor).
Course: Normal golfing attire, shorts if worn must be tailored with white sport socks.
The MGU registration desk will be situated in the ground floor spike bar
All players will be issued with a MGU tear off strip score card at registration.

HEALTH & SAFETY
First Aid: Defib unit available. Numerous staff (green keepers, pro’s bar staff)
There are wooden shelters on the course at 2nd, 11th, 12th, 14th, 17th & 18th holes.
In the event of thunder and lightning the MGU has hand held klaxons and will take responsibility: MGU storm monitor. Pro shop operated klaxons. Club have hand held klaxons and storm monitor.
Players to be made aware of Bell on 3rd hole and must wait on 16th until players walk out of sight.
Tees to be used: White (measured course)
Yardage Markers on the course are Discs at 200, 150 and 100 yards and posts at 150 to centre of greens
