Open to Senior Amateur Golfers (55 and over) of the County Unions of Cambridgeshire, Derbyshire, Leicestershire & Rutland, Lincolnshire, Northamptonshire, Nottinghamshire, Shropshire & Herefordshire, Staffordshire, Warwickshire, and Worcestershire
Format: 36-hole scratch medal (with integrated 18 competition)
Number of competitors: Max 120
Starting Times: 17th July Day 1 – 12:00 noon at 10-minute intervals (last tee time 4pm)
18th July Day 2 - 8:30am at 10-minute intervals
Tees: 1st Tee
Time course closed to members: 17th July from 10:00am
18th July from 8:00am to 30 minutes after last tee time

Bacon rolls will be available on a cash sale basis for £3.50 on 18th July
Clubhouse: Smart casual. – no waterproofs, no golfing gear. (soft spikes allowed)
Course: Normal golfing attire, Tailored shorts with white sport socks.
Mobile Phones The use of mobile phones on the course and within the club house is not permitted unless used in the case of an emergency. All phones must be kept on silent mode.
Locality of registration desk: Ground floor foyer
Scores will be displayed on the MGU screen in the first floor lounge/bar.
Score Cards: MGU Tear-off strip scorecards will be provided on the registration desk
Local rules/temporary local rules: EG Hard card plus any local rules on the day
Course planners are available at £6.00 standard or £10.00 strategy design
HEALTH & SAFETY
First Aid: 8 staff in total (Bar staff, Catering, Green keepers)
There a wooden shelter on the course at the halfway house between 10th green & 11th tee
In the event of thunder and lightning the MGU have a klaxon and will take responsibility: MGU storm monitor & hand-held klaxons. Club have hand held klaxons.
Tees to be used: White (measured course)
Players will be issued with a pin positions chart on both days.
Yardage Markers on the course: Posts at 150 yards to centre of greens.
The club have kindly agreed to allow competitors a practice round at the guest rate of £20.00 any time after the entry closing date. Friends or caddies (non-competitors) will be required to pay a £40.00 green fee by using the county card. All practice rounds are to be booked through the pro shop and are subject to availability.
