Midland Closed: The Midland Closed Amateur Champion will gain a free entry into the Midland Open Amateur Championship. Second and third place will gain a handicap exemption into the Midland Open.

Players will be issued with a lunch ticket after round as part of the entry fee.
Other food will be available on the day on a cash sale basis
Bacon roll & coffee from 6:30am at £5.50 each
Evening meals will be available up to 9pm
Clubhouse: No golf shoes (except spike bar), no waterproofs, no headgear.
Course: Normal golfing attire. Tailored shorts with sport socks allowed.
The MGU registration desk will be located in the lounge bar.
Score Cards. MGU tear off strip cards on registration desk.

THE COURSE – The Lodge
Tees to be used: White (on stones – measured course)
Players will be provided with a pin position chart
Yardage Markers on the course: Discs at 150 yards to centre of green
External OOB White posts to perimeter of course
Practice rounds will be available after the competition closing date and will be subject to availability. Practice rounds for competitors only at £25.00 per round. All others are required to pay a green fee appropriate for the day. All practice rounds to be booked directly with Proshop.

In the event of thunder and lightning the MGU has a klaxon and will take responsibility: MGU hand held klaxons and storm monitor. Club have hand held klaxons.
