Title: Midland Seniors Pairs

Format: 18-hole scratch medal

Starting Times: 08.00am  (4 balls at 10 mins intervals)

Tees: 1st

Time course closed to members: 07:30 to 15:00

Club house to open at 06:30am

Open to Senior Amateur Golfers (55 and over) of the County Unions of Cambridgeshire, Derbyshire, Leicestershire & Rutland, Lincolnshire, Northamptonshire, Nottinghamshire, Shropshire & Herefordshire, Staffordshire, Warwickshire, and Worcestershire

DRESS REGULATIONS

Clubhouse: Smart casual, Golf clothing – no waterproofs.                        

Course: Normal golf clothing, tailored shorts with white sports socks.

 

MGU ADMINISTRATION

Locality of registration desk: Registration desk in main lounge.               

Score Cards. MGU tear off strip cards to be used

Local rules/temporary local rules: EG hard card plus local rules on the day if required.

 

THE COURSE

Tees to be used: White

A Pin position chart will be provided.                            

Course Yardage Markers at 200, 150 and 100 yards in fairway to centre of green                                

 

PRACTICE

The club are pleased to offer practice rounds for competitors at a member guest rate of £22.50 up to 4 weeks before the competition.

HEALTH & SAFETY

First Aid: Approx 10 staff within golf club                                                                   

There a number of wooden shelters on the course.

In the event of thunder and lightning the MGU have a klaxon and will take responsibility: Club storm monitor and klaxons at Pro-shop and halfway house.
