CATERING

Players will be provided with a light meal after golf on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday as part of the entry fee.

Bacon rolls will be available on a cash sale basis for £3.00

A general bar menu will be available all days on a cash sale basis.

 

Menu options: Sausage & Chips, Beef Berger & Chips, Chicken Burger & Chips, Sandwiches & Chips + special of the day.

 

DRESS REGULATIONS

Clubhouse: Smart casual. No waterproofs, no golf shoes, no headgear.

Course: Normal golfing attire, tailored shorts & sports socks.

 

MGU ADMINISTRATION

Locality of registration desk: Scorers tent

Score Cards to be collected from the registration desk: MGU tear off strip cards to be used              

Local rules/temporary local rules: As EG hard card + local rules.

 

THE COURSE

Tees to be used: White (measured course)

Pin position chart: Players will be issued with a pin position chart each day.

Yardage Markers on the course: Posts at 150 yards to centre of green                                    

Out of Bounds: Perimeter fencing plus white posts (new OB to side 18th to practice ground)

 

PRACTICE

Practice round is available to competitors on Tuesday 9th July 2019 from 11:00am to 4:30pm. Tee allocations to be requested through entry form. All players will be accommodated as closely as possible to requested times.  Neil Harris to prepare start sheet on website. Players to be advised must play one ball only. No multiple practice around greens.

Entry to the club is off the A1 North bound carriageway only via a joint entrance previously a services area (recently demolished). Care is to be taken if approaching the club via the A1 south bound carriageway. Access across the central reservation is possible but a safe crossing is only a mile further south at the Easton exit.

 

HEALTH & SAFETY

First Aid: SRGC Staff

There are wooden shelters on the course: Halfway house, 3rd and 14th holes.      

Any public rights of way or other hazards of which competitors should be aware: Public ‘right of way’ around perimeter. 9th and 10th tee through to 13th tee.

In the event of thunder and lightning the MGU have a klaxon and will take responsibility: MGU Monitor & hand-held Klaxon SRGC have monitor & klaxons plus weather App.
