Title: Midland Senior Autumn Tournament                                                 

Format: 18 Holes scratch medal (Gross & Nett prizes)

Number of competitors: 80 to 100 (to be confirmed 3rd September 2018)

Starting Times: 08:00am (10-minute intervals with two starters times included)  

Tees: 1st only

Time course closed to members: Until 3.00pm

Open to Senior Amateur Golfers (55 and over) of the County Unions of Cambridgeshire, Derbyshire, Leicestershire & Rutland, Lincolnshire, Northamptonshire, Nottinghamshire, Shropshire & Herefordshire, Staffordshire, Warwickshire, and Worcestershire

CATERING

Meals are provided for those players who have included this in their entry fee.

All other food and drink are to be on a cash sale basis

Tea/Coffee & Bacon rolls are available for £4.00

Small breakfast at £6.00

Large breakfast at £7.00

Steak pie and chips at £12.00 if not included in entry fee.

DRESS REGULATIONS

Clubhouse: Smart casual, no waterproofs, no spikes

Course: Normal golfing attire, tailored shorts with white sport socks

MGU ADMINISTRATION

Locality of registration desk: Main lounge/bar area near doors from car park.

MGU tear off strip Score Cards will be issued on registration.

Local rules/temporary local rules: EG hard card + any local rules on the day

HEALTH & SAFETY

First Aid: 2 staff on site (Sarah Hopkinson and John Hart)       

There are wooden shelters on the course near 9th green and behind 12th green

In the event of thunder and lightning the MGU has a klaxon and will take responsibility: MGU hand held klaxons and storm monitor. Storm website used by club.

THE COURSE

Tees to be used: White (measured course)

Players will be issued with a Pin positions chart at registration.

Yardage Markers: Green posts at 150 yards to centre of green. Coloured flags on green (red, yellow & white)             

Out of Bounds markers: White posts and perimeter fencing.

PRACTICE

Practice rounds at £10.00 each for competitors only will be available after the competition closing date and will be subject to availability.
