MIDLAND UNDER 16 BOYS AND GIRLS OPEN AMATEUR STROKE PLAY CHAMPIONSHIP

HAWKSTONE PARK GOLF CLUB

19th & 20th APRIL 2017

All players will play 18 holes on the Championship course and 18 holes on the Hawkstone Course on the 19th April. The aggregate scores will be used to determine the qualifiers for the final round. on the 20th April the qualifiers will play a further 18 holes on the Championship Course, those missing the cut, will play a further 18 holes on the Hawkstone, in a Stableford format, for a separate prize

The Regional Trophy will be decided after Wednesday’s Golf, best 3 from 4 scores to count , both morning and afternoon

 The handicap limit shall be 8.4 for Boys and 12.4 for Girls. If the entry level exceeds 96 players a handicap ballot may apply. Those being balloted out will receive a full refund of their entry fee only.

For 'Online' entries all boys under 18 years of age on the 1st January 2017 must submit a PARENTAL CONSENT form . Entries will NOT be accepted unless completed.

CATERING

Bacon rolls and coffee will be available on arrival on a cash sale basis (not included within the entry fee)

Players will be provided with a lunch of sandwiches & chips or a jacket potato with fillings and a glass of squash

DRESS REGULATIONS

Clubhouse: Smart casual. – no denims, no waterproofs, no golfing gear.

Course:  Boys: Normal golfing attire. Boys will not be allowed to wear shorts.

Girls: Normal golfing attire. tailored shorts may be worn with white sport socks.

PRACTICE

Practice round on Tuesday 18^th April by application through the Midland Golf Union (01526 351163) on either the Hawkstone Course or the Championship Course.

Practice rounds on either course will be available on Monday 17th April between 12:00 and 13:30 on the Hawkstone Course and between 12:00 and 13:50 on the championship Course. This to be booked through the Pro Shop. These will be charged at £10 per round.

Practice rounds at any other will be subject to a green fee of £25.00 per person on the Championship Course and £39.00 per person on the Hawkstone Course.
