2012 Midland Youths Championship
Unfortunately the 4th round had to be abandoned due to adverse weather conditions this led to the Championships being decided by a sudden death play off on the standings after the 3rd round with both players being tied on 206. The result was decided at the 3rd extra hole. Liam Taylor, Sherwood Forest, being the victor and taking all three Championships.
The Hare Salver (for non qualifiers) was won be Matt Fieldsend, Drayton Park, with a score of 70 on the B6.
We must thank all at Stoke Rochford for once again giving up their course for 4 days, Gareth presented the course in excellent condition, normally brownish but this year green and lush. Thanks to Mandy, Phil and their staff for cheerfully feeding and watering us during our stay.
A big thank you for all those out on the score boards around the course led by the tireless Rod Rawson and those in the caravan compiling the scores led by Ruth Greenfield, we hope to see you all next year.
