Nottinghamshire seniors triumph

15th August 2014

Nottinghamshire triumphed in the 2014 EG Senior County Championships – Midland Qualifying at Gog Magog Old Course on Thursday 14th August and go on to represent the Midland Counties at Hindhead in October.

Seaton takes senior title

28th July 2014

Tim Seaton (Grimsby Golf Club) secured the 2014 Midland Senior Amateur Championship at Lincoln golf club with a two shot advantage over William (Bill) Thompson (Kings Norton) and a further shot clear of Richard Cole (Peterborough Milton).

Michael Farr wins the Andrew Hare Salver.

15th July 2014

With the top 40 non qualifiers battling out over 18 on Friday 11th July it was Michael Farr who eventually came out on top finishing with a level par 70, one stroke better that Thomas Godfrey (Fulford Heath) on 71 and a further stroke back was Matthew Osborn (The Abbey Golf & Country Club) in his first MGU event on 72 with Finley Mason (Moor Hall) also on 72.
