ONLINE ENTRY AND POSTAL ENTRY REMAINS OPEN UNTIL NOON ON MONDAY 3rd JULY 2017 OR WHEN THE ENTRY LEVEL REACHES 150. ANY ENTRIES ABOVE 150 WILL BE PLACED ON RESERVE ALL WILL BE ON FIRST COME FIRST SERVE BASIS

The championship is 72 holes of scratch medal play.

Entrants must be under 21 years or 18 years (Howell Cup) of age on 1st. January 2017 and hold a CONGU 'active' handicap of 8 or less.

The entry fee is £45.00.

PRACTICE

Practice round is available to competitors on Tuesday 11^th July 2017 from 11:00am to 4:30pm. Tee allocations to be requested through entry form. Alternatively contact Neil Harris (Tel: 01526 351163 or Email secretary@midlandgolfunion.co.uk) to book your practice round tee time.

All players will be accommodated as closely as possible to requested times.

CATERING

Bacon rolls and tea/coffee will be available to purchase for £3.00 from 7.00am onward

Players will be issued with a meal voucher on each day to purchase food which is included within the entry fee.

In addition a bar menu will be available on a cash sale basis all day/     

 

DRESS REGULATIONS

Clubhouse: Smart casual (no waterproofs or golf shoes.

Course: Normal golfing attire, tailored shorts & sports socks.

 

MGU ADMINISTRATION

The registration desk will be located in the scorers tent

                               

HEALTH & SAFETY

In the event of severe weather conditions there are wooden shelters on the course by the 10^th green, the 3rd and 14th holes.     

 

THE COURSE

Yardage Markers (wooden posts) are positioned at 150 yards to centre of green        

Players are advised that there are public rights of way around the perimeter of the course and near the 9th and 10th tees and through to 13th tee.

 

PRACTICE

As noted above

Players must play one ball only. No multiple practice around greens.

Entry to the club is off the A1 North bound carriageway only via a joint entrance previously a services area (recently demolished). Care is to be taken if approaching the club via the A1 south bound carriageway. Access across the central reservation is possible but a safe crossing is only a mile further south at the Easton exit.
