Chesters qualifies for the Brabazon

Shropshire & Herefordshire’s Ashley Chesters (Hawkstone Park) qualifies for the Brabazon Trophy thanks to a stunning display in the 2014 EG Men’s County Championships at Moseley Golf Club on 21^st June. A first round score of 66 was eclipsed by a more impressive 64 in the afternoon to finish on 130 (-10) 8 shots clear of Lincolnshire’s Simon Richardson (Spalding Golf Club) who carded a 71 in the morning followed by a 67 in the afternoon to finish on 138 (-2)
