Lincs Boys take titles
On a windy but dry day at Spalding Golf Club saw your Junior County Champions battle it out to become the Midland Junior Champion of Champions. After a long day the spoils for the boys were taken by Lincolnshire with Ashton Turner, Kenwick, taking both the U18 and U16 crown on two under 142. the U14 crown was won by Billy Spooner, Boston, on 152.
The girls honours in the U18s went to Aimee Wilson, Mickleover, on 159 and in the U16s Lianna Bailey, Notts Ladies, on 158.
Although the players found the course playing very difficult it was in excellent condition, congratulations and thanks to the Steve Clarke and green staff for their hard work.
The catering throughout the event was 1st class our thanks to Rob Richer and his staff.
