2012 EG County Championship-Midland Qualifying
On a cool, windy day at Belton Park GC in Lincolnshire the men of Worcestershire fought off the other nine counties to win the Midland EG Qualifier and now go forward to represent the Midand Group in the England Golf finals at Beau Desert on the 28-30 September 2012. This is the 2nd time in three years that Worcestershire have reached the finals. We wish them all the best in their quest.
With rounds of 70-68 = 138 James Burnett of Sleaford GC was the overall winner, thus retaining the Norman Russell Salver which he won last year. This win gives James an automatic entry into the Brabazon next week at Walton Heath. Best of luck James.
