PRACTICE ROUND
Due to Club Policy a courtesy ‘Practice Round’ is not available BUT a ‘half green fee round’, £12.50, may be played on Thursday 3rd September 2009, by arrangement with the Professional telephone 01427 718723.
Course Planners are available at £2.50 each.
REGISTRATION
The MGU Desk is situated in the lounge by the porch entrance.
CATERING
Coffee, Bacon Rolls etc available from 9.00am onwards.
A buffet lunch is included in the entry fee for all competitors.
A lunch ticket will be issued when returning your scorecard to the MGU Desk.
DRESS
Clubhouse: Smart Casual until 6.00 pm when Jacket and Tie are required.
Course: Normal golfing attire. White sport socks required with tailored shorts.
INSURANCE
At all times be vigilant with security of golf equipment and personal effects. Neither Lincoln Golf Club nor the Midland Golf Union can accept responsibility for theft or accident. Competitors are strongly advised to have their own insurance.
SAFETY AND SECURITY ON THE COURSE
Please take care when crossing the bridges on the course.
There are banks and slopes on the course. Care should be taken at all times with particular regard if wearing soft spiked shoes, especially in wet conditions. There are Public Roads and Farm Tracks which persons and vehicles may be using whilst you are on the course. Please take the utmost care when crossing any Road or Farm Track.
The procedure for a dangerous weather situation will be advised when registering to collect your scorecard.
DISTANCE MEASURING DEVICES
Only DMDs that calculate distance are permitted. Those providing other information such as wind speed, elevation, temperature etc are NOT permitted. Where an S3 Motocaddy or similar equipment is used, facilities additional to Distance Measurement must be either disabled or covered with tape. If, during a 'Stipulated Round' a player fails to comply with these conditions, the player is in breach of Rule 14.3 for which the penalty is Disqualification.
